Amadeus River Cruises introduces two-package group policy due to increased demand

Amadeus River Cruises has enhanced its group policy by offering higher commission, free places and early booking discounts in two different packages.

The change comes as the river operator has seen “a double-digit percentage increase” in group bookings and enquiries.

Both packages are based on live pricing from the website and will give agents an early booking discount, one free place for every 21 places sold and “enhanced commission”.

The ‘Live Availability’ package is designed for shops and agents to focus on individual sales on targeted departures and bookings under this package are made on live availability with no allocation held.

The ‘Protected Allocation’ package is intended for group organisers, tour operators, shops and agents where capacity “needs to be guaranteed” and will be held and protected with a non-refundable deposit.
