APT Travel Group promotes BDM to national partnership manager

APT Travel Group has promoted Gary Speirs from business development manager to national partnership manager for APT Luxury & Travelmarvel.

Speirs, who joined the operator two years ago after 12 years at Barrhead Travel Group, replaces Robin Griffiths who has decided to leave the business “to pursue a different opportunity”.

During his time as a business development manager for the north, sales have more than doubled with retail and travel partners in Scotland, North England and Northern Ireland.

In his new role, he will be responsible for “relations with key partners” and driving the luxury brand’s success in the UK market.

UK and Europe head of sales Brad Bennetts said: “At a time when we are celebrating record growth for the UK business, I am delighted Gary has been promoted and takes on a role which will further drive our success.

“APT Luxury & Travelmarvel prides itself on championing our own people by offering internal progression, development and growth.

“Gary has demonstrated great success in his current role as business development manager North over the last two years and I look forward to our UK key partner sales continuing to move from strength to strength under the guardianship of Gary.”
