Agents form breakaway group

A GROUP of Scottish Advantage Travel Centre members has formed a breakaway association in a move to improve commercial and marketing deals with operators.

The seven-strong Scottish Top Agents Group will retain their membership of Advantage but will use their collective strength to build on existing commercial terms.

Chairman John Wilson, from Cambuslang Travel, said: “We are happy with Advantage but feel there are other opportunities we can explore. For example, some operators may find it easier dealing with a smaller group of agents.”
