Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have launched their Christmas markets programme for winter 2021-22.
The festive programme had to be dropped in 2020 because of the Covid-19 crisis.
Trips are available from November, departing from seven UK airports to eight destinations: Berlin (Brandenburg Airport), Budapest, Cologne (pictured), Krakow, Copenhagen, Prague, Vienna and Lisbon.
The Portuguese capital is a new addition to the programme, with scheduled flights and city breaks on offer for the winter season from Manchester and Birmingham.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “People missed out on the opportunity to visit Europe’s most magical Christmas market destinations last year, so we’re delighted that these popular trips are back again for 2021.
“We’re very excited about the return of the programme and we know customers will be equally excited to see the Christmas markets well and truly back.”
The airline will operate nine new routes as part of the programme, which are Belfast International-Prague; Birmingham-Berlin; East Midlands-Copenhagen; Glasgow-Budapest; Leeds Bradford services to Berlin and Cologne; and Newcastle departures to Berlin, Cologne and Copenhagen.
