APT national sales manager Becky Baumbach joins Wendy Wu Tours

APT national sales manager Becky Baumbach has taken on a new role at Wendy Wu Tours.

She has become a business development manager at the specialist escorted tours operator.

Baumbach spent more than seven years at APT Travel Group, including two years as national sales manager.

She started her industry career as a travel agent before moving to Bristol Airport as business development executive.

Writing in Linkedin on her first day in her new position supporting travel trade partners in the southwest for Wendy Wu Tours, she said: “I had such a warm welcome from the head office team and spent the day getting everything set up and spending time learning about the products and processes.

“Starting a new role is always a little nerve racking but everyone has made me feel so welcome from the very beginning. It was also a real pleasure to meet Wendy herself.

“I’m excited to see what day two has in store. Here’s to the start of an exciting new journey.”
