Disney confirms adults will need vaccines for UK domestic cruises

Disney Cruise Line has confirmed adults on its ‘Disney Magic at Sea’ UK sailings this summer will require vaccinations before boarding Disney Magic.

The already-announced itineraries, departing from Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tilbury, went on general sale today.

The line confirmed its latest health protocols, including full Covid-19 vaccination for adults, Covis-19 testing, health screenings, face coverings, reduced guest capacity, physical distancing and enhanced cleaning among on board measures.

Disney Magic will sail mostly two- and three-night voyages, as well as limited 4-night sailings from Liverpool and Southampton only.

Liverpool departures begin in July, Southampton sailings in August and cruises from Newcastle and Tilbury begin in September.

Booking for Castaway Club members who have previously sailed with Disney Cruise Line opened earlier this week.

Thomas Mazloum, president of Disney Cruise Line, said: “Our teams are bringing tremendous ingenuity and fun to these new cruises, tailoring them with care to the times we are living in, yet filling them with everything you’d expect from Disney, from great service and entertainment to immersive dining experiences and magic for the whole family.”
