MSC Cruises has tweaked its Covid-19 protocols and guidelines for UK departures from next month.
The requirement to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 changes from “required” to “recommended” on October 1.
All fully vaccinated passengers presenting a valid vaccination certificate will be recommended but not required to test before embarking.
A PCR or Antigen test within 48 hours prior to the ship’s departure remains mandatory for unvaccinated passengers.
MSC Cruises is also reminding customers that Covid-19 insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
Changes to Covid-19 travel requirements have also been applied to other embarkation ports including those in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Caribbean.
