Eurocamp has announced that 64 of its parks across Europe have achieved leading environmental certifications, double the number of last year.
Fifty-nine parks have been awarded Green Key certification, supported by the World Tourism Organisation, for their commitment to sustainability.
They include the five-star La Croix du Vieux Pont near Paris and five-star La Chapelle in Roussillon, Southern France.
Four more have been awarded a Travelife certification, including Alannia Els Prats and Alannia Costa Dorada in Spain, while La Côte Sauvage in France has been awarded EU Ecolabel certification.
A spokesperson for Eurocamp said the “rapid acceleration” in the number of certified sites is due to Eurocamp owner ECG’s “commitment to setting standards in sustainability”.
"We offer holidays that bring people closer to nature. It is our duty to protect this heritage so that families can enjoy it for years to come," said Philippe de Trémiolles, managing director of ECG.
Eurocamp has said it is committed to working with the trade in 2026 and in December announced a deal to offer package holidays with Jet2holidays.
Ten of the parks featured in the partnership have received Green Key certification.
