Hays Travel has acquired Scottish independent agency The Holiday and Flight Centre for an undisclosed sum.
The agency, which was established by managing director Roseann Ratter in 2002, has a single branch in Hamilton and a luxury cruise arm under the Indulgent Cruises brand.
Ratter and her husband and fellow director Jim will exit the business following the acquisition, but all staff and brands will be retained.

The acquisition is the third announced by Hays Travel in the space of eight days, following deals for miniples Polka Dot Travel and Millington Travel.
Tanya Cooper, head of sales at Hays Travel, said: “It’s an amazing agency which shares the same family values as Hays Travel.
“Roseann wanted to make sure her team were looked after and were in good hands and that’s why she chose us. It’s emotional for the team but they are really happy for Roseann and really happy that it’s Hays Travel they are moving to.”
Roseann Ratter added: “Our main priority was to find a company that would look after our staff and our customers and we feel we have made the right decision with Hays Travel.
“I want to thank the team for everything they have done to make the business the success it is and wish them every success for the future under the new owners.”
