Specialist walking tour operator Involved Holidays is targeting more sales via the trade in 2026, with new incentives, educational opportunities and more fam trips.
The company appointed Richard Forde as sales director in January with a remit to boost bookings through travel agents.
It also joined the Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers in April and hosted its inaugural fam trip in October, taking 11 agents to Cyprus.
For 2026, it said “the continued support of travel agents is a priority”, alongside product expansion with rail and e-bike options launching, as well as some long-haul itineraries.
Fore: “We have exciting plans to continue spreading the word on our unique style of relaxed walking holidays for solo travellers.
“The strategic importance of the trade makes the travel agent community a priority and as such we want to continue our endeavour to educate.
“We have several fantastic additions to our itinerary choices coming, with rail and e-bike options launching in 2026, alongside some fabulous long-haul itineraries.
“We will support these developments with various trade-focused initiatives that we hope agents will continue to embrace so that they feel confident in selling the product.”
Currently, Involved Holidays offers more than 40 “relaxed” walking trips for solo travellers, couples and private groups in Europe and the UK, with departures from 19 airports.
