Jet2 expands Samos programme with addition of Birmingham flights

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have extended their programme to Samos for summer 2026, with flights now on sale from Birmingham.

The sister airline and operator announced exclusive routes to Samos from Manchester and Stansted last month, and said the expansion to Birmingham was based on strong demand.

The Birmingham service will operate weekly on Mondays between May 4 and October 26, representing additional capacity of nearly 10,000 seats.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “The launch of Samos from Manchester and London Stansted Airports has been well received by customers and independent travel agents, so we have responded to that and are delighted to be expanding the programme today.

“The introduction of flights and holidays to the beautiful Greek hotspot from Birmingham Airport means we are now giving customers in the Midlands the chance to enjoy an authentic slice of Greece.

“We are very pleased to be expanding our operation to Samos just a month after launching it and giving even more customers to chance to reach this idyllic island next summer.”
