Jet2holidays co-funds new prime-time travel show 

Jet2holidays is co-funding a new ITV prime time travel show called The Great Escapers.

The series features figures from stars from Coronation Street, I’m A Celebrity…, The Chase and Loose Women competing to give their colleagues the best holiday experience they can.

The four 60-minute episodes are being filmed this spring and summer in Rhodes, Spain, Portugal and Malta.

The celebrities in each episode will be supported by a Jet2holidays customer helper as they take turns to decide the day’s itinerary.  

At the end of the trip, three celebrities must vote for who put together the most memorable day and one of them will be crowned The Greatest Escaper.

The operator plans a “heavyweight” campaign alongside the series including bespoke advertising, in-show and out of show competitions, product placement, and multi-channel activity including exclusive content.

The series will air on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player later this year.
