Midlands Tui agency books 100-plus Benidorm trips for local couple

A couple have booked more than 100 holidays to Benidorm with help from a Tui travel agency branch.

Roger and Sue Topp have been booking their Spanish resort breaks with Tui for more than 35 years, and for the last 10 years at the travel group’s Hinckley outlet.

The couple from Leicester mostly travel from East Midlands airport and their next departure on December 23 will be their eighth visit this year.  

They credit their local Tui store, which they visit dozens of times a year, for making every trip seamless.  

Roger Topp said: “We pop in for a chat or a cuppa. They always look after everything for us, and they’ve become like family.”   

The couple, who have been married for 55 years, say they have built a strong social network in Benidorm, where they stay at the Rio Park Hotel, and now take extended winter trips there.  

Tui agent Cameron Morton said: “They’ve been booking with us in store for around 10 years and usually plan three trips at a time. 

“They love the Rio Park and won’t go anywhere else, they always say it feels like home from home and that they meet friends there every time. 

"Loyalty like that is the biggest compliment, and they’re not just customers anymore - they’re friends.”
