Premier Travel has successfully reopened two of the three branches it took over from Baldwins Travel.
The agency announced it had taken on the three former branches at the start of August.
The Maidstone branch officially opened on August 28 and the Uckfield store on August 30, after being refurbished and rebranded as Premier Travel. Both are run by former Baldwins staff.
The third branch in Tonbridge will open “in due course” according to the company, under manager Wendy Sharp and her team.
Premier’s new Maidstone branch is led by manager Kirsty Alston with her team Beverley Skeath, Kimia Fazileh and Alison Morrison. The Uckfield shop manager is Emma Harris and her team is Laura Harrison, Izzy Chitty, Lisa Tidball and Sarah Lal.
Managing director Paul Waters said: “Customers will find the same trusted people in branch, but with fresh energy and new opportunities behind them.
“We’re proud to give these teams the support they deserve and to provide stability for both our colleagues and our clients. This is about protecting the personal service and long-standing relationships that make high street travel agencies so special.”
He added: “This is a very positive step for our business and our partners. We are investing not only in new branches, but also in the people and expertise that matter most to our customers.”
Premier Travel, which has been trading for more than 90 years, operates 31 branches across East Anglia and the southeast.
