Richard Sofer leaves Center Parcs after a year

Richard Sofer has left his role as chief commercial officer at Center Parcs after a year.

The former Tui commercial and business development director confirmed he had concluded his role at the domestic resorts operator “after an intense period of growth and transformation”.

Writing on LinkedIn, he said: “I’m immensely proud of what we achieved, working with outstanding teams to evolve the commercial strategy, strengthen performance across multiple complex revenue streams and lay important foundations for long-term growth.

“I’m now turning my focus to the next leadership chapter.

“I’m open to conversations around CEO, managing director, or CCO/CD opportunities with ambitious businesses where commercial strategy, growth, transformation and leadership capability are central to the agenda.”

Sofer spent almost six years with Tui before setting up a consultancy business in 2023 and joining Center Parcs in January last year.
