An OTA dedicated to exclusively booking MSC Cruises has approached £10 million in sales, less than three years since its launch.
Southampton-based Simply Cruises attributed the rapid growth to its proprietary online system, which managed the recent summer lates market across the MSC Cruises’ fleet of 24 ships.
It is is now scaled to handle anticipated demand for the introduction of MSC Meraviglia sailings from the UK in 2027.
The company claims to be challenging traditional travel trade distribution by proving that a "technology-first, no-phone-call" model can deliver both market-leading efficiency and superior customer satisfaction.
Chris Hughes, founder of the Barrhead Travel managed travel service partner company, said: “Our growth from a standing start to nearing £10 million in sales is proof that specialisation, backed by unique technology, is the future of niche cruise sales.
“We do not need to operate a costly price-matching service because our custom tech consistently finds the best available deals automatically, offering genuine, instant value to our customers.”
