A Cape Verde holiday operator has added Maio to its latest brochure, which features eight of the 10 islands that make up the archipelago.
Cape Verde Experience’s 68-page brochure runs from November 2022 to October 2023, and features a variety of accommodation types, including hotels, resorts and beach apartments, which range from self-catering to all-inclusive.
The operator has added Stella Maris, a small hotel with an infinity pool and its own private beach on the island of Maio, which has a population of 4,000.

New beachfront hotel on the island of Santiago, Oasis Tarrafal Alfandega Suites, has also been added to the operator’s latest portfolio. The hotel has 20 guest rooms and a panoramic restaurant, and brings the number of hotels on the island to four.
Two of the operator’s “most popular islands” Boa Vista and Sal are included. Iberostar Club Boa Vista has two pools, five bars, spa, beauty salon, tennis courts, kitesurfing school, sand bikes and an amphitheatre, while family-run Hotel Morabeza, on Sal, has been awarded Hotel of the Year by Cape Verde Experience.
The brochure also features the Cape Verde Archipelago Cruise, a seven-night cruise on a 21-cabin yacht, where guests can visit six islands and take part on onshore excursions, as well as island-hopping itineraries, tours and experiences.
The operator includes entry to a UK airport lounge as well as private hotel transfers on arrival in Cape Verde to all its holiday packages.
Cape Verde Experience product executive Suzanne Brown said: “We’re delighted to once again showcase the great beauty and diversity of this cluster of islands that offer year-round sunshine and a great range of experiences just six hours from home.
“The alluring island of Maio is an exciting new addition and complements our extensive choice of hotels and island-hopping experiences, while Sal and Boa Vista islands continue to be popular choices for relaxing beach breaks.”
