Long-haul operator First Class Holidays has added Japan to its portfolio, with a 100-page brochure that will launch on August 19.
The operator also currently sells holidays in Canada, the US, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean.
Daniel Gathercole, managing director, said: “The team have worked extremely hard to ensure the products and suppliers are in keeping with our brand and service levels and I am excited for us to start selling this to the trade.”
Keir Ashley, product manager, added: “We have worked very closely with the DMCs and suppliers in Japan and, along with the first-hand knowledge of our own travel experts, we’re confident to showcase all the handpicked tours, hotels, and excursions that your clients are going to love.
“The brochure covers a wide range of products including 30-day tours and 30 handpicked hotels across Japan, eight escorted tours, 10 independent tours and eight short-stay packages along with cruising and rail options to inspire your clients.”
Yumiko Wood, First Class Holidays’ lead Japan travel expert, said: “With so much to see and do in Japan, and various ways to travel, it can be daunting to know where to start if you have never visited before.
“With Japan being my native country and living there for over 30 years, I can provide the knowledge and tips to make sure your clients have a wonderful time, along with the rest of our Japan travel experts, who have all travelled extensively around the country.”
To celebrate the launch, First Class Holidays is hosting a Japan event at its offices in Manchester on September 10.
