Escorted tour specialist Leger Holidays has added 20 new UK coach breaks to its domestic range, more than doubling its 2021 staycation programme.
Ashley Dellow, head of retail sales at Leger Shearings Group, said: “The demand for UK holidays shows no signs of abating.
“During the pandemic, when we couldn’t travel overseas, people started to appreciate what was on their doorstep and realised there was so much to see.
“Leger Holidays has gone from having just a few UK tours in 2019 to 38 in the 2022 collection.”
The new UK breaks feature themes such as gardens and flower shows; culture and history; and vintage railways.
Seven of the new holidays include accommodation at adult-only Warner Hotels, which are known for their range of leisure facilities.
New trips include Discover the Lake District by Rail and Sail, a five-day coach trip based in Windermere.
It costs from £499 and includes four nights’ hotel accommodation with breakfast.
Also new is the Historic Worcester and the Wye Valley, based at Warner Holme Lacy House (pictured) near Hereford.
It costs from £549 including four nights’ B&B accommodation.
