SeaWorld Orlando to unveil new rollercoaster in 2023

SeaWorld Orlando will unveil a new rollercoaster in 2023, bringing the park’s total to seven.

The theme park said Pipeline: The Surf Coaster will give riders an “immersive experience from the moment it starts” as they will be secured on the ride in a surfing position while their seat rises and falls to mimic the feeling of catching a wave.

It will be the “only place in the world” to have a rollercoaster of this style, according to Kyle Miller, SeaWorld Orlando park president.

The rollercoaster will have 2,950ft of track, reach a top height of 110ft and have a maximum speed of 60mph during the 110 second ride.

Miller said: “We are always looking for exciting ways to take thrills to a new level.

“This first-of-its-kind rollercoaster will be the perfect addition to the already incredible line-up of attractions at SeaWorld Orlando.”

He added: “SeaWorld Orlando will be the only place in the world to ride a rollercoaster like this and we welcome everyone looking for the chance to experience it.”
