Gary King, head of trade sales at Wendy Wu Tours, said: “This new brochure represents our commitment to providing unparalleled choice and flexibility to our agents, with more departure dates and a wider range of itineraries than ever before.”

The ‘Partner Flies Free’ promotion provides savings of up to £995 per person, while solo travellers are being offered a 50% airfare discount. Both promotions will be available until September 2 this year.

Highlights of the brochure include the 21-day Best of Japan itinerary, taking in Tokyo, Kyoto and Mount Fuji. The tour also offers immersive cultural experiences, including a traditional tea ceremony and a stay in a ryokan.

Japan by Rail, an 11-day trip, will take travellers on a journey from north to south, while Japan Uncovered, lasting 18 days, promises a “dive deep into Japan’s diverse landscapes and traditions”.

It will include visits to the cities of Hiroshima and Kanazawa, as well as the Japanese Alps, with travellers also getting to experience the destination’s famous cherry blossoms in full bloom.

The Cruise & Tour itineraries include the 18-day Singapore to Tokyo and the 14-day Osaka to Seoul, which “explores the deep cultural and historical ties between Japan and South Korea”.

King said: “Our new Cruise & Tour itineraries mark a significant expansion in our offerings, allowing travellers to experience Japan in a truly unique way.

“The savings on offer through our launch promotion, especially the ‘Partner Flies Free’ deal, represent incredible value, making it easier than ever to explore Japan’s must-see sights from iconic landmarks to off-the-beaten-path treasures.

“With demand for Japan travel at an all-time high, particularly during the cherry blossom and autumn leaf seasons, we encourage travellers to book early to secure their preferred tour and dates.”
