On The Beach has signed up actor and comedian Paddy McGuinness for its TV and radio adverts during 2024.
McGuinness will deliver some of the OTA’s key promotional messages, with his well-known voice providing ‘the friendly bloke’ at the end of its customer service line.
On The Beach says its partnership with actor and comedian, a dad of three from Bolton, is a ‘match made in holiday heaven’.
Zoe Harris, chief customer officer, said: “Paddy has the perfect blend of cheekiness and infectious enthusiasm, making him the ideal On the Beach brand ambassador and that will dink dank do for us.
“He’s a man of the people who loves getting into holiday mode, clowns around like nobody’s watching and embraces everything a jolly has to offer.
“Yet, just like our customers, Paddy is smart when it comes to booking a holiday, knowing he can get more bang for his buck when he books with On the Beach. We’re chuffed he’s part of the team and can’t wait for him to get his jolly on.”
The company said the first task for its new ambassador and self-proclaimed holiday lover was to get Brits to take advantage of how holiday dates fall in 2024 to take a 15-night break from March 23 until April 7, but with only eight days’ annual leave.
The two week break uses the Easter bank holiday weekend and the two weekends either side to enable more time off for a holiday.
The OTA has also announced its free Fast Track perk is back, and available to more customers than previously, allowing complimentary fast track through airport security throughout 2024. It is available on any seven-night holiday for six or less travellers and will automatically apply to all bookings made from November 14, 2023.
