Hays Travel celebrated the achievements of its agents at a dinner party hosted by Dame Irene Hays and the agency’s Steps to Success team.
More than 170 high-performing agents from across the UK headed to the Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club near Birmingham for the agency’s inaugural Amazing Golden Ticket Celebration on Monday (June 12).
Dame Irene said: “The response to our Steps to Success programme has been phenomenal, resulting in outstanding performances by our teams in retail branches, and in our foreign exchange and contact centre divisions.
“They truly are amazing, from the excellent service they give to our customers to their commitment to our values-led learning culture. It was a joy to host this event to celebrate all our golden ticket achievers.”
Launched in May 2022, the Steps to Success programme sees Hays colleagues mentored by dedicated performance coaches, and those who achieved ‘amazing status’ in 2023 received a personal invitation to the event.
Beccy Rayner, head of Steps to Success, said: “I am overjoyed that in the very first year of our Steps to Success programme we have had so many golden ticket winners. It has been an honour to host this night of celebration for our truly outstanding performers and to award some incredible prizes in partnership with our fantastic suppliers.

Prizes won by golden ticket holders throughout the evening included a Fred Olsen cruise; a place on a Sandals Antigua fam trip; a trip to South Africa with FollowMe2Africa and a three-night break to New York with Hays Travel Tour Operating.
