Vietnam Airlines is cutting back its schedule from Heathrow during the summer.
Three flights a week will serve Hanoi with two a week going to Ho Chi Minh City.
Frequencies using Boeing 787 Dreamliners will rise again with the start of the winter schedule from October 25.
In other network changes, the airline is starting to serve Hanoi three times a week from Amsterdam from June 15 and well as Phuket via Ho Chi Minh City, while frequency to Manila is being increased from Ho Chi Minh City from May 31 to 15 times a week.
Vietnam Airlines operates from Heathrow Terminal 4 and is the only carrier running non-stop flights between the UK and its home nation.
Onward connections via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City allow for travel to onward destinations throughout Vietnam and to Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.
Return economy fares from London to Hanoi currently start at £799 and £787 to Ho Chi Minh City.
