VIRGIN Atlantic is to spend £562 million expanding its fleet of Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
The airline is to purchase five of the aircraft and will take delivery between March and June 2001.
They will be used to expand Virgin’s route network and increase frequency to established destinations.
