Aer Lingus is reviving one of the transatlantic routes lost with the closure of its base at Manchester Airport.
Barbados will continued to be served on a temporary basis from Dublin with the wind-down of the Manchester operation on March 31.
The direct link between Dublin and Bridgetown is being introduced primarily to re‑accommodate Manchester passengers flying to Barbados.
The service will run for two months until May 31 using narrowbody Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
Flights from the airline’s Dublin hub run three times a week, departing on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Fares start at €229 each way, including taxes, fees and carrier charges.
The single aisle A321XLR aircraft is configured with 184 seats in a two-class configuration featuring 16 full-flat business class and 168 in economy.
