Loveholidays has established two product-centric functions dedicated to accommodation and ancillaries as well as flights.
The OTA, which has just increased its Atol licence, has recruited Trainline UK and foreign travel general manager Sarah Helppi in the newly-created role of vice-president, land, to oversee its land marketplace and commercial supply teams.
They are responsible for sourcing the company’s accommodation and ancillary products and delivering a “high-performing marketplace” for both partners and customers.
The company’s accommodation supply network enables it to package more than 56,000 hotels and sell over 600,000 properties through its hotel-only offering.
Customers can also add a range of ancillaries to its holidays, including transfers, insurance, flight add-ons and upgrades and airport parking.
Chief marketing and supply officer Al Murray said: “We are delighted to welcome Sarah to the team at such an exciting stage of our journey.
“Her wealth of experience and deep understanding of digital marketplaces will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our land supply.
“We offer an unrivalled choice of hotels that far outstrips our package competitors, and fostering great supply relationships is key to delivering the holidays our customers love.”
Helppi added: “I am thrilled to join loveholidays at this pivotal moment, as we work towards an ambition to become the global leader in package holidays.
“I’m looking forward to building on our established supply relationships, ensuring we continue to win on price, experience, and trust.”
