Headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece, the company has 19 five-star properties across 12 destinations in Greece, Portugal and now Spain.
It has eight hotels under Marriott International, Inc. brands and three under Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc.
Baobab Suites has 125 suites, three restaurants, several private pools, a spa and kids’ club.
The property recently introduced a new wellness and sports area, including four padel courts, a beach volleyball court, powerbiking facilities, and dedicated yoga and Pilates areas.
Dr George P. Spanos, chief executive of Domes Resorts, said: “We are extremely pleased to be entering Spain and, in particular, the rapidly growing market of Tenerife.
“As a year-round, 12-month sunny destination, Tenerife is highly attractive and strongly demanded by our Domes clientele.
“Baobab Suites is a beautiful property in an excellent location, professionally managed, and I would like to congratulate [founder] Filip Hoste for his efficiency.
“At Domes Resorts, we continue to pursue our strategic expansion beyond Greece, while offering diversified and high-quality hospitality experiences to our guests.”
Filip Hoste, founder of Baobab Suites, added: “By joining the Domes family, Baobab Suites will become a reference in the managed branded property sector.
“It’s a sure option for success and excellence, with many advantages for unit owners and local staff. I would like to thank Dr Spanos and his team for his belief in Baobab Suites.”
