Mercury Holidays has developed a ‘Manage My Booking’ tool to cut trade admin and allow travel agents’ customers direct access to key holiday details.
The new tool will allow clients who book via agents to securely access and manage key elements of their booking independently.
The aim is to reduce routine queries and free up time for the agent to focus on sales and customer service as demand for escorted tours and worldwide holidays continues to grow.
The tour operator said the new Manage My Booking platform will allow customers to access the booking overview and guest details; view fight information and check-in guidance; download holiday, tour and destination travel guides; submit passport details and Advance Passenger Information (API).
The platform will sit alongside the agent portal where agents access all key booking information and invoices.
Commercial manager Joshua Harford said the move was part of Mercury Holidays’ ongoing investment into digital tools to support trade partners and improve the end-to-end booking process.
He said: “This launch is about reducing the administrative burden on agents while improving the customer’s experience and access to their holiday details. By giving customers direct access to key booking information, agents can spend less time handling routine queries and more time focusing on sales and delivering a more personalised service.”
The new tool follows the launch of the operator’s latest brochure collection featuring escorted tours, worldwide holidays, river and ocean cruises for 2026 to 2027.
