The shortlists have been unveiled for the 2026 Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards, with a host of suppliers and destinations in the running for the trade’s top accolades.
The lists were created based on thousands of nominations from the travel agent readers of Travel Weekly and are published in a special supplement alongside this week’s edition of the magazine.
This year’s awards include three new categories: Best Luxury River Cruise Company, Best Ancillary Provider and Supplier Representative of the Year, honouring those meeting agents every day on the frontline.
Voting in the agent-nominated awards is open until Friday, December 5, with the winners announced at a glittering ceremony held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel in association with headline sponsor Hearst UK on January 15.
Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly, said: “As always we are indebted to our readers for putting forward their nominations and allowing us to publish these shortlists containing the best suppliers in the travel industry.
“We are incredibly excited to unveil our winners in January and there is a real buzz around the new categories introduced for 2026.”
Stu Parish, UK chief executive of Travel Weekly parent company Jacobs Media, added: “The Globe Travel Awards are a stellar opportunity to bring the very best in travel together in one room to celebrate our exceptional industry.
“These awards truly matter, because they are entirely nominated and voted for by agents. Every vote counts – so don’t miss your chance to decide the winners.”
