Tui Hotels & Resorts is establishing a property in Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan.
The country’s first Tui Blue hotel is due to open in May 2026 as part of the group’s continued expansion across the Asia Pacific region while also developing accommodation in emerging destinations.
The new Tui Blue Paro Taktsang willl feature architecture inspired by traditional Bhutanese design, wellness focused facilities and elevated dining concepts, according to the company.
The resort will include 34 junior suites and suites, a restaurant and two bars, a ball room, an indoor heated swimming pool as well as spa and gym facilities.
The property will integrate sustainable building practices and responsible operations aligned with Bhutan’s environmental vision, Tui noted.
Tui’s accommodation portfolio currently comprises 25 hotels in China and Southeast Asia, with more than 30 additional projects in development across the region.
