Wizz Air has confirmed the creation of a new package holidays platform.
Wizz Holidays went live last month, enabling users to bundle flights, hand-picked accommodation and ground transfers.
The airline said: “Package prices can sometimes offer better value than booking each travel component separately, but prices vary by destination, date, accommodation and availability.”
The development came as the eastern and central European budget carrier saw July passenger carryings rise by almost a third over the same month last year.
The 31.6% increase saw the airline carry 8.36 million passengers during the month.
This came as capacity rose by 30.4% to 8.91 million seats.
“This marks a further acceleration into the summer season from the 27% year on year growth in passengers reported for June,” the airline said.
The load factor for the month was 93.7%, up 0.9 percentage points against July 2025.
The airline confirmed expansion in Spain from November with the opening of new bases in Madrid and Velencia with10 new domestic routes and three international services.
