Disney has confirmed the names of its upcoming Marvel-themed land as Avengers Campus and its Star Wars-themed hotel called Star Wars: Galactic Cruiser at its D23 Expo 2019.
Avengers Campus will open at Disneyland Paris, Disney California Adventure and Hong Kong Disneyland and is expected to be completed by 2020. More details will be shared this weekend.
The Star Wars hotel at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will offer guests a two-night experience aboard a starship where they can interact with characters and become part of the story being told during an immersive stay.
The company also revealed plans for a Moana-themed attraction and a Tron rollercoaster.
Disney showcased its plans for Epcot which will include the first attraction based on the film Moana called Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana”, which will enable guests to interact with “living water”.
The new rollercoaster being built at the Magic Kingdom park in Florida’s Walt Disney World will be named TRON Lightcylce Run, based on the TRON film franchise.
The announcements were made by Disney Parks’ experiences and products Chairman, Bob Chapek.
