Norse Atlantic Airways saw punctuality affected by air traffic control delays and airport congestion in February.
The low cost long-haul carrier operated just 70% of flights within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time, compared to 84% the same month last year.
Passenger carryings rose by 66% year-on-year to 84,335 as Norse ramped up charter flying and leases of Boeing 787 Dreamliners to third parties.
A total of 301 flights were operated across its network and ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance)/charter operations.
ACMI/charter services saw large growth, with 137 flights compared to 30 flights in February 2024.
A record load factor of 95% represented a 23-percentage point increase from 72% in the same month last year.
The load factor of the Norse stand-alone scheduled network was 93%, against 70% in February 2024.
“On-time performance was negatively impacted by air traffic control delays and airport congestions,” Norse said.
