Flight Centre stimulates demand with November discounts

Flight Centre aims to stimulate bookings in November by promoting value for money holidays in a “Big Red Sale’.

The agency claims the initiative is its biggest sale yet for the month, with discounts of up to 40% on flights, holidays, cruises and tours.

Global managing director Andrew Stark said: “The timing of the Big Red Sale reflects a return to familiar patterns but in a more constrained consumer environment.

“With post-Covid revenge travel out of everyone’s systems, we’re seeing, globally, travel demand returning to seasonal trends despite a certain amount of household belt-tightening.

“Customers are telling us they’re prepared to forgo other spending for the sake of their travel plans, so our Big Red Sale is designed to make that decision to take a much-needed holiday easier.”

He added: “We’re also keeping a few deals under wraps for now, including some right here in the UK, including hot deals from some of our amazing travel partners, including airfares and more. Really, the only thing not on sale are flights to Mars.

“For example, families can save 20% and have two kids stay free with breakfast at the 5-star Outrigger Khao Lam Beach Resort in Thailand for seven nights. This package can be tailor-made from £999 per person.”

Other deals include four-stop round the world flights starting at £1,299 and three-night New York packages cut by up to £152 to £599.
