Jet2.com puts record Iceland winter programme on sale

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have launched their biggest ever Iceland programme, with flights from all 12 UK airport bases for winter 2025-26.

They will be operating to Keflavik airport from new bases at Bournemouth – an exclusive route – and Liverpool John Lennon airports for the first time.

In total, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate more than 170 outbound services between October 2025 and April 2026, representing more than 34,000 seats on sale and a capacity increase of 6% compared to winter 2024-25.

The release of the programme on Thursday (June 20) is the earliest the companies have ever put their Iceland programme on sale and comes in response to the number of customers who book early for Iceland.

Packages with Jet2CityBreaks are available for a £60 per person deposit and include a guided northern lights tour, transfers and a choice of three- and four-star hotels in central Reykjavik. Excursions to the South Shore, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon are available to purchase.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays unveil record winter-sun programme

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “It represents our biggest Iceland programme to date, providing an unrivalled choice of departure points from across the UK, and it comes in response to the strong demand from customers and independent travel agents.

“Iceland is a destination that continued to enjoy enormous popularity thanks to its abundance of natural wonders such as the northern lights and Golden Circle.

“As well as geothermal spas, geysers, natural parks and the incredible Aurora Borealis, Iceland also offers the ultimate city break destination in stylish Reykjavik, which is the world’s northernmost capital.”

Grétar Már Garðarsson, director of airline relations and route development at Keflavik airport, added: “We are delighted to hear of the capacity increase and that two new destinations, Bournemouth and Liverpool, will be added to the current 10.

“This is a continuation of Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks adding to their schedule every year since their first full programme at Keflavik airport in 2019.

“This is a clear sign of the opportunity Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks see in Iceland as a continued important destination for the UK market.”

The announcement comes weeks after Jet2.com and Jet2holidays announced details of their winter 2025-26 winter sun and ski programmes. Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will reveal details of their cities and Christmas markets flights and city breaks soon.
