Norse Atlantic UK unveils Florida services from Gatwick

Long-haul budget carrier Norse Atlantic Airways has unveiled two new Florida routes from Gatwick, with tickets now on sale.

Flights to Orlando will begin on May 25, followed by Fort Lauderdale on May 26, with return fares starting from £409.

The new routes are in addition to the current daily Gatwick to New York service that began in August 2022.

Flights to Orlando will operate four times a week in May and June and then a daily service in the height of the summer peak season.

The Fort Lauderdale service will operate three times a week in May and June, then four times a week for the rest of the summer season.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, chief executive at Norse Atlantic Airways, said further destinations between London and the US will be announced by the end of February.

“As a result, our UK-based airline, Norse Atlantic UK, will serve more destinations to the US from London Gatwick than any other carrier this summer,” he added.

Stewart Wingate, chief executive at Gatwick, added: “Both Orlando and Fort Lauderdale are understandably very popular destinations, especially among families, so it’s great news for passengers across London and the southeast to have more choice ahead of the summer holidays.”

Norse Atlantic operates Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with Economy and Premium cabins.
