Ryanair is adding five routes to its Birmingham winter schedule as it celebrates 35 years at the airport.
The budget airline will operate 34 routes from Birmingham over the winter season, with new destinations Billund, Grenoble, Santander, Stockholm and Toulouse.
Additionally, Ryanair is increasing its Birmingham-based fleet from four to five, two of which will be new Boeing 737 8-200s.

As part of its celebrations, the airline is launching a seat sale for travel between October 2022 and March 2023, which must be booked by July 1.
Director of route development Ray Kelliher said: “Ryanair is delighted to announce further growth and investment at our Birmingham base this winter, with our fifth based aircraft, five exciting new routes and two new environmentally efficient Boeing 8-200 aircraft as we celebrate 35 years of successful operations at Birmingham airport.”

“This long-term move will give customers greater choice and boost economic growth in our region.”
