Senegal is being introduced as Tui UK releases its earliest ever programme of winter holidays for 2022-23.
Tui Airways will run weekly direct flights from Gatwick to the country’s capital Dakar.
Customers can stay at the new Riu Baobab in Tui’s platinum range on the beach in Pointe Sarene, the newest tourist resort in Senegal 100km south of Dakar.
Prices start at £755 per person for seven nights on all-inclusive, including transfers
Low deposits of £75 are offered to encourage in-store bookings while costs can be spread when booking online via direct debit with a zero deposit on selected trips.
A total of 45 destinations are available including Senegal in west Africa alongside favourites such as the Canary Islands, Egypt and Mexico.
Commercial and business development director Richard Sofer said: “We know there is pent up demand for holidays and the desire to have a holiday to look forward to is more evident now than ever before.
“Many of our customers, in particular families tied to school holidays and popular dates such as Easter, and weddings and larger groups want to book as far in advance as possible to secure their holiday of choice.”
“We’re excited to launch Senegal as an exciting new winter sun destination and are confident it will appeal to customers seeking value for money, great all-inclusive resorts and guaranteed sunshine as well an experience that is a little bit different.”
Meanwhile, five new itineraries over the 2021-22 Christmas and new year period have been added by Tui River Cruises.
Sister brand Marella Cruises’ Marella Discovery will run a new itinerary from Barbados starting in February 2023.
The winter sailings go on sale today (Thursday July 22).
