Single traveller discount extended by easyJet holidays

A solo traveller offer is being extended by easyJet holidays to all bookings made by the end of September on departures until October 2024.

A discount of £50 per adult and £25 a child applies to holidays with a minimum spend of £800 using a ONEADULT promotional code when booking with agents.

The discount was first offered in February, resulting in single adult bookings increasing by almost 350%, including customers booking via the trade.

The budget carrier’s in-house tour operator reported that 70% of these bookings have been solo travellers whilst the remainder were single parent families.

Prices start at £826 for a week’s half-board at Cooks Club Adakoy in Turkey, based on a May 2, 2023 departure from Gatwick.

EasyJet holidays’ commercial director Paul Bixby said: “Since launching our one adult discount back in February, we’ve seen a significant increase in holidaymakers choosing one adult breaks, so we’re really pleased to be offering this great value deal for another year.

“It’s so important to us to make sure our unforgettable holidays are accessible to everyone, so I’m really proud that we’re enabling single parents and solo travellers the opportunity to holiday their way, across our selection of Europe’s most loved hotels.

“We look forward to providing more brilliant holiday experiences for our customers.”

Meanwhile, easyJet is offering free lounge access at Gatwick’s North Terminal to passengers travelling with Flexi Fare tickets in a trial running until November 30. Access to the Gateway Lounge costs all other easyJet customers a lead-in of £18.99 in partnership with Holiday Extras.

The Flexi fare is a bundled rate offering benefits including a large cabin bag, a 23kg hold bag, free ‘up front’ seat, use of dedicated easyJet Plus bag drop, fast track security, speedy boarding, free flight and route changes and an Eat Drink Shop voucher.
