The Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers (Atas) has partnered with Travelsphere and Just You to offer a fam trip to agents who are new to the touring sector.
Rachel Mould, UK head of sales for Travelsphere and Just You, will join Claire Brighton, Atas director, as the pair host the trip to Claude Monet’s Gardens in Giverny, near Paris.
Departing on July 24, the three-night fam is designed for agents who have little or no experience of selling touring holidays.
It also aims to give agents a first-hand introduction to touring with sister brands Travelsphere and Just You.
Agents will travel by rail in Eurostar’s Premier Class and also meet the trade team from Travelsphere and Just You.
Brighton said: “It’s a great opportunity for agents who are new to the touring category as they will be immersed in the product, and understand how an escorted touring holiday works – and that will build confidence so they can recommend and sell these holidays to their clients.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the attraction, getting to know the agents and hearing from the Travelsphere and Just You teams.”
Mould added: “I’m thrilled to be hosting this fam trip in partnership with Atas, particularly as it reflects the evolution of our programme to better support agents at every stage of their touring knowledge.
“By introducing beginner, intermediate and expert levels last year, we’ve created more opportunities for our agent partners to build confidence and deepen their understanding of a rapidly growing sector.
“With touring – especially solo travel – continuing to see strong growth, this beginner-focused trip is a fantastic opportunity to give agents with little or no prior experience a valuable introduction to how touring operates.
“I’m excited to help broaden their knowledge and showcase the potential this dynamic market offers.”
Agents like this, or with someone in their business who would benefit from the trip, can complete the form here.
