The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel has unveiled personalised ‘digital shop fronts’ to raise visibility and increase sales for its homeworking travel agents.
Each PTC has a dedicated landing page, described as “an independent, branded storefront that acts as a powerful sales and marketing tool”.
The company said this initiative marks “a significant step forward in supporting the growth of the homeworking agents’ own businesses”.
These pages are tailored to reflect the personality and expertise of each consultant, with an “About Me” section showing consultants’ favourite beach or city destination along with their holiday tipple of choice.
A direct enquiry form is embedded on the page, allowing clients to send messages straight to the consultant’s inbox plus a dedicated deals section featuring the top 20 travel offers, updated regularly to drive enquiries.
Abbie Heaton, group manager for PTCs, said: “Our goal was to give our consultants a professional, shareable platform they can confidently promote their business across all marketing channels.
“These landing pages not only boost credibility but also streamline the customer journey.”
To protect each consultant’s client base, the new pages are designed to remove the ‘Find a Consultant’ tab when accessed via a consultant’s unique link.
This ensures that customers stay connected to their chosen advisor without being redirected elsewhere.
Returning visitors are automatically directed to the consultant’s page, helping retain loyalty.
In the event a consultant is unavailable, enquiries are also monitored by the PTC support team, to ensure no opportunity is missed.
Each page also includes a dedicated section about the PTC and Blue Bay Travel partnership.
The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel was formed in July 2021 and currently partners with 55 self-employed homeworkers. It is a member of the Midcounties Co-operative’s Co-op Travel Consortium.
