Crystal Ski Holidays has launched a charter flight from Birmingham Airport to Oslo Gardermoen for the winter 2026-27 season.
The new, exclusive route will be served by Tui Airways, with the first departure on December 13, and the last outbound departure on February 14, 2027.
The weekly flight will complement the existing Tui Gatwick-Oslo and Manchester-Oslo services.
The service opens up access to the resorts of Gausta, Norefjell, Geilo and Beitostølen for customers in the Midlands.
Scott Britton, head of Crystal Ski Holidays, said: “We’re excited to be growing our Norway programme from Birmingham with this new route, giving our customers based in the Midlands more choice when it comes to their ski holidays.
“Demand for Norway keeps climbing and customers love it as it’s filled with fun activities and snow-globe scenery.”
Trevor de Villiers, chief executive of Norway Home of Skiing – responsible for the resorts’ international sales and marketing – said: “We’re really proud to add this third weekly charter service from Birmingham, so that more UK travellers can experience our Norway Home of Skiing resorts.
“This comes off the back of huge demand from Brits for Norwegian ski holidays thanks to our reliable snow cover and great value for money for ski-in, ski-out accommodation and lift passes.
“And, as the ultimate winter wonderland holiday destination, there’s plenty to do beyond the slopes, making it a great choice for beginners and families.”
Tui-owned Crystal Ski Holidays offers seven-night holidays to Geilo, staying at the Hotel Dr Holms from £776, based on two adults on a B&B basis, departing January 3, 2027.
A seven-night holiday to Beitostølen on a B&B basis at the Radisson Blu Resort costs from £1,157, departing on February 7, 2027.
