Specialist operator CV Villas has made two promotions as it vows to work “more closely” with valued agent partners.
Chris Etheridge has been promoted to the newly created role of senior business development manager, while Erin Glennie has been promoted to head of sales. Both positions are effective from May 1.
CV Villas’ managing director Pete Brudenell said: “I’m delighted to be able to recognise Erin and Chris for their dedication, hard work and performance, which have led to the creation of new opportunities within the business. With their new roles, we look forward to working even more closely with our valued agent partners.”
Etheridge joined the operator in 2021 as business development manager with a focus on strengthening trade partnerships to drive agent business.
In the last four years he has achieved 47% growth in trade revenue, with trade sales now outperforming the growth of CV Villas’ direct business.
In his new role, Etheridge will continue to be on the road while also taking on “more strategic responsibilities to propel the business forward”.
Brudenell said: “Since joining our business in 2021, Chris has been instrumental in nurturing our trade partnerships and driving agent business, leading to remarkable revenue growth.
“As he steps into his new role, Chris will be responsible for leading our trade strategy, with a key focus on developing key partnerships to support our Above portfolio. His dedication and excellence have earned him high respect within the industry, and we are confident that he will continue to propel our business forward.”
Etheridge added: “I’m excited to be stepping into a new role at CV Villas. Over the past four years, it’s been a real privilege to work alongside a forward-thinking team and our outstanding trade partners. I’m looking forward to building on these relationships and leading the next chapter as we expand the CV Villas brand into new markets.”
Glennie joined CV Villas in 2022 as team leader and was later promoted to senior sales manager after helping to develop the sales function of the business.
The operator praised her “outstanding performance and leadership qualities” and “strategic capabilities and dedication”.
