Premier Holidays has announced the first winners of bucket-list holidays in its 90th anniversary peaks campaign.
The ‘dream’ holiday incentive has already generated strong interest and engagement among travel agents and still has ten long-haul holidays up for grabs, including trips to Thailand, South Africa and the Seychelles.
The first four winners are: Amanda Smith, of Hays Travel Southend; Fiona Bexon, of Millington Travel Loughborough; Stephanie Glasspool, of Solent World Travel; and Antonella Medgett, of Premier Travel, Bedford Street, Norwich.
Smith won a five-night holiday to Canada worth £2,650 and Bexon scooped a 16-night trip to Australia and Singapore valued at £16,000.
Bexon said: “What can I say — this is an absolutely amazing prize and one I never expected to win. I feel extremely lucky and can’t wait to celebrate the news with my family, who I know will be overjoyed. It truly is a holiday of a lifetime.”
Glasspool will be off on a 10-night trip worth £13,500 to the Maldives while Medgett has been awarded a 12-night Vietnam and Cambodia holiday.
Medgett said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with this incredible prize! I’ve always wanted to visit Vietnam and Cambodia, as both destinations were very high on my travel wish list. This really is a dream come true — and premium economy is the icing on the cake.”
The remaining prizes are a five-star luxury escape to Thailand with business class flights, valued at £11,500; an island-hopping Seychelles adventure, valued at £6,400; £6,600 South Africa stay including safari; £6,000 Malaysia trip including Borneo; US holiday including Canyon Spirit worth £7,500; £5,600 Thailand multicentre; and £5,000 Sri Lanka trip with a stopover in Qatar. Also up for grabs are a Jersey break worth £1,200 and a Guernsey getaway valued at £2,000.
The next tranche of winners will be announced in March. Every entry rolls over to future draws so the more bookings agents make, the greater their chances of securing a holiday prize.
Sales and marketing director Debbie Goffin said: “We are thrilled to celebrate our first winners and reward agents for their continued support and success in selling long-haul travel.
“As a proudly trade-focused tour operator, this incentive is designed to recognise and thank our valued agent partners. With so many exceptional prizes still available, the campaign continues to offer fantastic motivation and recognition throughout.”
