Holland America Line (HAL) has revealed plans to host more than 400 agents across nine ship visits throughout 2026.
The events will take place on two Pinnacle Class ships, Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam, in Southampton, Dover, Portland, Falmouth, Greenock, Liverpool and Rotterdam.
The ship visit schedule is as follows:
The final visit in the programme will be to Rotterdam in the Netherlands which will be the culmination of a booking incentive in partnership with Travel Weekly.
The April 3 visit will also be the line’s first dedicated family ship visit in partnership with Back in Time for Bed which will have a range of family-friendly activities, in addition a group of travel and tourism students joining.
Details of how agents can register interest will be released shortly.
All visits will include a welcome presentation and business update from the trade team, a guided tour and lunch.
Karen Farndell, associate vice-president of sales and marketing for the UK and Ireland, said: “These visits will give agents the chance to experience our ships firsthand, helping them sell with complete confidence.
“With over 400 places available across Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam, including our first family ship visit in April, we’re demonstrating our continued support for the trade and recognising how vital agents are in growing awareness of Holland America in the UK.
“We’re also looking forward to welcoming local students on board, giving them valuable exposure to cruise operations and helping nurture the next generation of talent within the industry.”
Nieuw Statendam will homeport from Dover this year for a second consecutive season, sailing seven and 14-day cruises to the Norwegian fjords, Iceland and the Canary Islands from April to October.
