Inspire has hailed the contribution of its homeworking agents as the Cheshire-based travel group is on course to achieve a record year.
Speaking at the company’s annual homeworkers’ conference in Majorca, chief executive Lisa Henning revealed that Inspire’s 100-strong Independent Travel Associates (ITAs) network now generates 50% of group revenues, with overall turnover up by 35% year-on-year.
Henning said: “We’ve had an exceptional year, and it’s all thanks to our incredible team of Independent Travel Associates.
“Their entrepreneurial spirit, dedication and expertise have been the driving force behind our success.”
Just over half (55%) of Inspire’s ITAs are now trading ahead of last year’s performance, while the group’s Atol licence has grown from just under £1 million to £9 million in four years.
Henning said: “The results speak for themselves and are a clear reflection of our commitment to empowering independent agents to grow stronger, smarter and operate more sustainably within our industry.”
Under Henning’s leadership, Inspire has expanded from five homeworkers to 100 in five years.
Inspire’s conference is taking place from October 14-17 at Iberostar Selection Jardin del Sol Suites in Majorca.
Fifty agents are attending, who have been invited based on their performance and engagement with operators.
The group offers travel services through a range of platforms, working with a variety of travel providers, as well as corporate organisations to provide sales promotion services and employee benefits and reward schemes.
