InteleTravel has reported it achieved its first-ever £2 million sales day last month, while total January bookings increased by 44% year on year and revenues by 35%.
The homeworking company, which said it notched the landmark day for gross sales on January 29, added the cruise sector performed particularly well last month, with revenues up 67% year on year.
The figures follow two months of increased activity, including the release of a customer-facing magazine and three weekly webinars for agents highlighting the best partner deals.
InteleTravel UK and Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes said: “Our performance supports the statistics we are seeing that holidays remain a top priority, with customers taking full advantage of competitive pricing during the campaign.
“Long-haul destinations in the Middle East, Indian Ocean, Asia and Africa are selling strongly.”
InteleTravel said it now has 80% of its partner portfolio involved in its partner engagement programme, with further activity planned for the duration of 2026.
