InteleTravel chief executive James Ferrara has revealed the agency’s UK and Ireland business is on track to achieve sales of £245 million for 2025, representing an increase of more than 50% on last year’s figure of £155 million.
Ferrara, a co-founder of the homeworking group, said sales in the year to date stand at £185 million, meaning the business is set to surpass its year-end target of £200 million by 20%.
“There are few companies that are growing in this way,” he told the group’s annual conference, held in Porto this year.
More than £8 million in commission has been paid to agents so far this year, which is 96% up compared with 2024, with the largest single payment to a UK agent being £15,984.
“The UK and Ireland lead the company globally in terms of growth – it’s phenomenal,” Ferrara said.
UK and Ireland agents have made a total of 130,000 transactions in the year to date, he noted, with land holiday sales growing by 61% year on year and cruise sales growing by 45%.
The agency has about 37,000 agents in the UK and about 1,800 in Ireland, according to UK and Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes. She estimated about 60% work full-time hours.
