Kat Davies has been promoted by Jet2holidays into a new role to support non-retail travel agents.
She has become national sales manager - non-retail, a new position that reflects the operator’s focus on homeworking and call centre agents.
Kerry Burnham has also been promoted to the position of business development manager, responsible for continuing to strengthen partnerships with independent agents.
Davies (pictured) joins existing national sales managers Nikki McGuire and Simon Marshall, forming a trio of field sales leaders who will drive engagement and support across the UK, according to the operator.
The promotions represent investment in the company’s 19-strong trade team.
The creation of the new role for Davies follows the operator’s first non-retail summit in Leeds.
Travel agent relationships director Alan Cross said: "We are delighted to announce these well-deserved promotions for Kat and Kerry, which we know will be very popular with our agency partners.
“Kat and Kerry both possess an enormous amount of experience, as well as passion, for supporting agents, and their promotions are a real demonstration of our commitment to our partners.”
He added: “Working with non-retail agency partners is a critical part of our strategy and Kat is perfectly placed to develop our partnerships even further.
“There is an enormous opportunity when it comes to mutually growing our businesses together and we are looking ahead with real excitement.”
